Mtn-To-Sea Loves Doby!
Mtn-to-Sea is very proud to announce a new partnership with Marie Tumlin, of Chekrdflags, and Dawn Blaine of Belle Harbour Newfoundlands. These three Newfoundland kennels are joining together to campaign a wonderful accomplished show dog, National Specialty Top Twenty Winner, Multiple Group Placing, AKC Champion Voldemort at Chekrd Des Oursons du Vent otherwise know as Doby.
Recently, Marie, Dawn and Dionne decided to bring Doby out and see what would happen. First, they reunited Doby with his handler, Lara Spears, then headed to Florida for the Orlando shows. On Friday, June 25, 2010, Doby went Best of Breed under Judge Jay Richardson, then went on to the Group Ring, and received a GROUP ONE, also under Judge Richardson, and 251 All Breed points…. It was an exhilarating way for the new partnership to begin!
On Saturday, June 26, 2010, Breed Judge Mr. David Bolus gave Doby BOB, then Judge Mr. David McIntyre awarded Doby and Lara Spears a Working Group Three, for 191 All Breed Points.
On Sunday, June 27, 2010, Lara and Doby wrapped up the weekend with a Working Group Two with Mrs. Lee Canalizo judging for an additional 270 All Breed Points. Mr. Jon Cole was the Breed Judge getting him to the group ring.
We are excited to be part of this great dog’s life, and look forward to watching him the ring at upcoming shows. Dawn, Marie and Dionne know that working together as a team, we can accomplish wonderful things with this magnificent dog…. come back for updates.
